Collaboration project! Acha x Sakuralala!!

2022-12 Sakuralala Artist Program Shop News

The surprises for the December release continue!

Apart from the SakuralaLa stamps for 365 and HST , we are creating collaborative stamps with artists and creators active in various fields through the SakuralaLa Artist Program. We all enjoy the process of working on ideas together and refining them, and the time it takes to give shape to an idea is very stimulating. This time, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to create some wonderful stamps. I have been itching to introduce them to you for a long time, so I am happy to be able to unveil them to you now.

The next stamp from the Sakuralala Artist Program is "Acha x Sakuralala - Holiday," created in collaboration with eraser stamp artist Acha.

Acha and I have many mutual acquaintances, we worked part-time at the same place in our student days, and so on... We have many more things in common, so much so that I wonder if we've been friends for a long time. Because of that, the idea for these stamps just popped out of my head while we were casually talking, and it was polished up in no time, and our idea of "cute!" took shape.

Acha x Sakuralala - Holiday

Acha's latte art, which is also a very popular eraser stamp, has been made into a clear stamp, which has surely delighted many fans. The biggest feature of clear stamps is the latte art that is layered on top of the mug, which is where their charm really shines. It's also cute to stamp a panda or a bear peeking out from the top of a mug.

Small stamps of girls, boys, animals, icons, etc. They are round and a great size for a notebook. These small stamps can also be used to design mugs. I stamped clovers, flowers, and ribbons on the mug in the image above. The mug itself is simple, so you can use the blank space as a date label or paste a photo on it, which I think is cute.

The flowers and fruits have meanings, and the design is a mix of Japan and Hawaii, which is a common connection between us, making it like a bridge between Japan and Hawaii. If you stamp the four corners, it will look like a frame, and if you stamp one or two places, it will add a little accent.

Acha x Sakuralala - Holiday

"Make every day a special day, make special days even more special, and take your time during special times. "

----That's what Acha wanted, so we decided on the name of the stamp "Holiday." Both Acha and I create stamps with the hope that they will add a little fun to your daily life, and that they will gently accompany you. We would be happy if you could stamp even on an ordinary day and feel cheerful and happy.

The "Surprise! Surprise!" will continue tomorrow!
