Artville What is Artville?
The word "Artville" came to me while watching my favorite Christmas movie.
We named it Artville with the hope that it would become an artistic town where many creators gather. If Artville has clear stamps of various tastes, everyone will be able to find a stamp that they will fall in love with at first sight!
Some people may be worried that manufacturing clear stamps seems like a high hurdle, but all the Sakurala staff will support you from the beginning. Let's create clear stamps together that will make many people happy by turning excitement and thrills into reality!

1) Please apply using the Artville application form below.
2) After confirming the application details, We will contact you regarding the decision to participate in Artville and the details. Please note that it may take some time depending on the timing of your application.
* We do not disclose the screening criteria, but we may decline your application if the design does not comply with the precautions. Please be sure to read the precautions.
3) Based on the information you fill out in the application form and the image of the clear stamp you want to make, we will consult with you about the direction, etc., in line with your ideas. We will explain and make suggestions about data submission guidelines, design restrictions, etc. This is a strategy meeting to create the best clear stamp.
4) Please prepare the data to be submitted. Before starting the manufacturing process, we can create a sample for an additional fee and deadline. Please contact us if you would like to do so.
5) We will confirm the final design of the clear stamp. At this stage, your order will be official and we will send you an invoice. We cannot accept cancellations after payment has been completed. Thank you for your understanding. The initial production quantity of clear stamps will be 50 pieces. If you would like more than this quantity, please contact us in advance.
6) The clear stamps of all Artiville applicants will be put into the manufacturing process on a set date every 2-3 months. Please submit your data by the specified date. If for any reason you are unable to meet the deadline, please contact us separately. Please note that we cannot change the design after the data has been submitted.
7) After confirming the submitted data, the clear stamps will be manufactured at our partner factory. The delivery time is generally 4-6 weeks, but delivery times may vary depending on the factory's busy schedule or on public holidays and holiday seasons in the US and UK. Thank you for your understanding. The completed clear stamps will be delivered to your designated shipping address.
8) We will inform you of the designated release date on our online shop. We will decide the timing of the pre-release unveiling after consultation. Both parties will prepare for the release, such as creating product images and samples of the clear stamps, and share them with you.
9) Clear stamps now on sale! From the release date onwards, it will be possible for creators to sell the products in their shops or at events, or use them in workshops.
Manufacturing costs (4x6 size clear stamps)

* Unit price: 900 yen (excluding tax)
The first batch will consist of 50 clear stamps. If you would like to order more than 50 pieces, please contact us in advance. We can change the production quantity in batches of 8 pieces. Creators will be able to sell the products in their own shops or at events, or use them in workshops, etc., after the release date of "Artville Marketplace."
During the first production run, we will cover the manufacturing costs and manufacture 30 units separately, of which approximately 25 units* will be sold on the Artville Marketplace.
(※) The initial production quantity will be 30 units, however, as they will be used for photography and sample creation in preparation for sales, we plan to only sell around 25 units on our online shop.

The Artville program is 45,000 yen (excluding tax) including everything. I will be making 50 clear stamps. If you are a creator and would like to have your item remanufactured, please contact us. Delivery times may vary depending on the factory's congestion, so please consult with us.

At our online shop After the initial sale of clear stamps is sold out, the design fee will be charged for any remanufactured stamps. In addition, if we introduce the clear stamps to our business partners and they place an order, the design fee will be charged. The design fee is the wholesale price minus the manufacturing costs and other expenses, and will be calculated, reported, and paid every three months.
About the schedule
The schedule below is just a rough guide. We will provide you with detailed information after you apply. Depending on the application situation, we may set a limit on the number of people we can accept. In that case, we will prioritize applications for the next round of applications. Thank you for your understanding. If there are any additions or changes to the schedule due to various circumstances, we will update the list below.

Regarding submitted data
For details regarding data submission instructions and design restrictions, we will send you guidelines and templates after you apply.
* Create with Adobe Illustrator
The process will go more smoothly if you use Adobe Illustrator to create the data. During the design strategy meeting, we ask you to send us the data in AI file format so that we can make suggestions for polishing it.

If the data was created using software other than Adobe Illustrator, it may take some time to assist you, but we can still accept it. Please send the data in PDF file format during the strategy meeting.
Use hand-drawn designs
You can also use the digitalized data by scanning your hand-drawn paper manuscript. We cannot assist with scanning. Considering the quality of the data, we recommend that you scan something larger than actual size and then reduce the data to the specified size. Be careful not to scan dirt on the paper, and be sure to delete any parts that are not part of the design. Please note that if dirt is reflected in the submitted data, it will also become part of the stamp. After you have done the work, please send the data in PDF file format at the strategy meeting.
Frequently asked questions
Q. How many stamp designs can fit on a 4x6 size sheet?
A. There is a set distance between each image. You can put as many stamp designs as you want as long as they fit within the 4x6 size. You can also put in one large 4x6 size stamp.
Q. Can I sell the stamps I make?
A. You are free to use them as you wish, such as selling them in your shop or events, or using them in workshops. Wholesale sales via creators are also possible.
Q. Is it possible to produce 4x6 size clear stamps?
A. Yes, you can. However, Artville is currently only offering collaborations on 4x6 sized clear stamps. We may introduce other sized clear stamps in the future. We will let you know when this happens.
Q. I live overseas, can I still participate in Artville?
A. This is only possible if the delivery address is in a country that can receive packages via EMS. If the delivery address of the clear stamps you manufacture is within Japan, we will cover the shipping costs, but if the delivery is overseas, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Thank you for your understanding.
Q. Can you supply acrylic blocks?
A: Yes, that is possible. Please contact us.
Q. For example, would it be possible to apply in February to submit data in the latter half of July instead of the latter half of March?
A. Yes, you can. If you would like to submit your data on a date other than the most recent deadline, please let us know when you apply.
Q. Due to various circumstances, I will not be able to meet the data submission deadline. Do I have to wait until the next submission deadline?
A. We will make the best proposal depending on the situation at the time. Please consult with us.
Q. Can I request clear stamps to be made, rather than using the Artville program?

Notes
* Producing original goods using photos or images of characters or people is a violation of copyright and portrait rights. We will not allow the manufacture of designs that would violate such rights. Please be sure to use original designs.
* After the data submission and payment are completed, the clear stamp manufacturing process will begin. From this point on, cancellations will not be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
* If data needs to be replaced, there will be no additional cost if you do so before submitting the data. Please contact us. We can also accommodate cases where data needs to be replaced for the second or subsequent remanufacturing.
* If the delivery address of the clear stamps is within Japan, we will cover the shipping costs, but if the delivery address is outside of Japan, we will ship it via EMS and you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Thank you for your understanding.
