The 7th of the month has arrived again! It's a happy day when I can finally reveal little by little the things I've been keeping secret ever since I started thinking up the ideas. Starting today, I'd like to introduce the stamps to be released in October, leading up to the release date on October 14th. I hope you'll join me.
It's been three months since 365's new series "Day By Day" debuted, and we can already smell the holiday season coming up! For some reason, things get less and less busy around the New Year every year, but it's my favorite season.
This month's stamps (too?!) look even cuter when you use colorful ink or color them!! They're in full celebration mode, and it feels like you can hear the sounds of happy laughter. I couldn't help but smile when I was using the stamps.
On a side note...
This is the first sneak peek image I use every month, and it's a test print of a new clear stamp. The surface of the stamp may have dirt from the manufacturing process, so I always test print it before stamping it on the actual paper. Some of my fellow crafters rub the surface with an eraser or wipe it with an alcohol-free wet tissue before using it, but this method has become established for me. Since it's the first time I've stamped, the surface is not printed neatly, and since I'm just stamping in the empty spaces, there are some overlaps, but I like this randomness and I can't help but look at it. From there, I also got ideas like, "I wonder if I can use this stamp in this way." It's a process that kills two birds with one stone, as the surface is also cleaned before the actual stamping.
