Introducing the new "Day By Day" monthly stamp, "365: July," released in June.
This month's stamps are themed around fireworks, as summer is all about.
As I was stamping, the stamps piled up and ended up looking a bit like a violent firework... You can combine them to make fireworks of various shapes and colors. The stamps printed in black ink on the bottom left are the ones before they were combined. I think they can be used as background patterns or over numbers in your planner, rather than as fireworks.
This stamp features Hana-chan, Kuma-san, and Usa-chan, a trio looking up at fireworks. Of course, you can use it in a variety of situations without combining it with fireworks. It's cute to see Hana-chan holding hands with the other two!
There is also a stamp of a trio holding sparklers, which is a common sight overseas. I thought this might not be common in Japan, so I made it so that it can also be used as a penlight. It's a stamp that you can use when you go to a concert!
(The last concert I went to was in 2019! I went to Tokyo Dome with a friend from high school for two consecutive days. It was fun, and I want to go again.)
This month's flower is the lily. This is the 11th flower stamp from "Day By Day." Once I have all of them, I'd like to stamp them all together.
I really like the stamps of Hana-chan and Usa-chan with sparklers. They're both wearing yukatas, so it feels like a summer night.
The other day, it was announced that the local fireworks festival will be held for the first time in four years. I'm sure that many places will hold the long-awaited fireworks festivals and summer festivals this year. It's tough in the hot and humid weather, but I'm looking forward to the events that are unique to summer.
Tomorrow I'd like to talk about the theme stamps that will be released in June. Look forward to it!
