Time spent with Day By Day

2022-9 Day By Day Memory Keeping 365

It's already been two weeks since I started using the Day By Day stamps in September to keep track of my diary and my memory. I'm still trying to figure out my own style, competing with my time and energy in the still-short evenings, but it's been a lot of fun. This isn't a sneak peak of the stamps released in September, but I thought it might be helpful to know how to use them, so I'd like to introduce the page for the first week of September using the stamps released in August.

【 BEFORE 】

I used only "365: September" to decorate it. The inks I used for the soap bubbles (the dots around it) are various colors: sunflower, pheasant, light blue, and young bamboo green. I thought that four colors might be too many, but since it's the first page, I made it colorful. I used the usual Mildliner to color it.

【 AFTER 】

Using the above as a base, I spend about 5 to 10 minutes stamping every night, including the time it takes to tidy up! It's a blissful moment. (While glancing sideways at the baby camera to see if my child is sleeping...)

I want to cut and paste paper items like memorabilia and use masking tape like before, but I'm holding back that urge and keeping things simple. Once I get used to it, I'd like to do those things as much as I can, but for now, I'm aiming to take it one day at a time during my exploration period so that I don't give up after three days.

My family only goes to the park in our neighborhood, and we are still trying to avoid going out as much as possible. Since I no longer have plans to write in my planner like I used to, my enthusiasm for planners has cooled since the COVID-19 pandemic began. However, since September, I have started keeping memories and spending time in my planner again, and I have realized that I really do like it.

The "Day By Day" series has only just been released, so there are still a limited number of stamp varieties, so I used 365 stamps .

365 September

This has gotten long, but finally, I'd like to talk about the Mildliner, my go-to for coloring.

The other day, I was told that the new Mild Liner color "Mild Beige" is perfect for Kuma-san! I bought it as soon as it was released, but I had completely forgotten that I had it. I tried it right away and it looks really good! The darker bear on the left is "Mild Brown." I always use this color when coloring Hana-chan's hair. And the lighter bear on the right is "Mild Beige." It's a soft color, so it gives off a gentle vibe. I was only able to choose "Mild Brown," so I'm happy. Thank you for the good information.

Tomorrow is the day before the September release! We would like to introduce you to a set of three items.
