Continuing from yesterday, we'd like to introduce you to memory keeping using "Day By Day" stamps.
My memory keeping starts on Mondays, and since January 1st was a Sunday, this week starting on the 2nd was the second week. I had intended to stamp a little bit every day, but I made them all at once after this week was over.
Since the amount of writing varies depending on the day, I decided not to draw lines and divide the week into equal parts, but to just go with the flow. When I found myself faced with a blank page, I wasn't sure where to start, but I just went for it and stamped "JAN" and "HAPPY NEW YEAR" in the middle.
Once I put the stamps away, I was able to get going quickly. I stamped the date with the numbers from " 365: Wishing You " for each day, then stamped one stamp per day with a picture related to what I wanted to write, and then wrote down my thoughts.
I wanted to keep it simple, but I ended up having fun, so I cut up and pasted together the packaging for a McDonald's fork and the bag that a lucky bag came in.
After filling in all the spaces from the 2nd to the 8th, I stamped the soap bubbles of "Hana-chan blowing soap bubbles" from " 365: Celebration " on the 4th here and there.
Once I get to this stage, I can't stop. I stamp random dot patterns with colorful ink on the page, which was previously all black. Then I color it with a Mildliner. It's so much fun stamping that I end up stamping a lot, and it's hard to know when to stop ... but now, looking back at it, I'm bothered by the blank space at the top of the "kite."
I was able to make great progress, so I thought I might try a style of memory keeping that doesn't divide the week equally for a while. For reference, I'd like to show you how I kept my memory when I divided the week into parts tomorrow !
