November Release①『365: December』

2022-11 Day By Day Shop News 365

Introducing the new "Day By Day" monthly stamp, "365: December," released in November.

The long-awaited, beloved December stamps! Full of Christmas spirit, just looking at them makes me excited. The special chocolates from the advent calendar that we get to eat every morning, hunting Christmas trees, Christmas market and toy shop window displays with Christmas themes, letters and cookies for Santa, milk for the reindeer... It brings to mind childhood memories.

It's always the same, but this time it was especially difficult to choose a design to fit into the limited space of 3x4 inches. When Igloo Dining enchants me with their magic, they turn out to be such cute stamps that I can't help but get greedy and get this and that... There are so many other designs I'd like to make into stamps, so I hope I can make another Christmas stamp like " 365: Ho Ho Ho ".

365 December

Every month, there is a flower (plant) stamp in the monthly stamps, and this month it is mistletoe. This alone is Christmas-like! The flower's meaning is "overcoming difficulties" and "patience". It overlaps with the current situation where we are enduring the COVID-19 pandemic. I just hope that our days will be more relaxed and free of anxiety than they are now, but I'm sure it will be soon...!

The "Day By Day" series is based on the concept of "a stamp that can be completed with a single press", but this mistletoe has separate "leaves" and "berries". I thought about whether to make a stamp according to the concept and paint the berries red with a pen, or to draw them in, but in the end I thought it would be cuter to print it in red ink, so I ended up with an irregular stamp.

The other stamps are just so cute! They can be used for your December planner, Christmas cards and letters, Christmas gift wrapping and gift tags. I'm looking forward to seeing how you all use these stamps.

Tomorrow I will be talking about the theme stamps that will be released in December. When you have time, I hope you will check out my blog and Instagram again.
