Introducing the "Day By Day" themed stamps, "365: Re-Explore," released in November.
This month's theme is "Travel." I started making this set because I wanted to travel around again like I used to. The "Re" in "365: Re-Explore" has the meaning of "Let's go on an adventure again!" Coincidentally, the nationwide travel support campaign started last month, so this is a very timely theme.
My children are still small, so it's still a little difficult for us to travel like we did before the COVID-19 pandemic, but my family members overseas have started making plans to get together in Japan next year. It's not about sightseeing somewhere special, but mainly about reuniting for the first time in five years, and we've been really excited just brainstorming ideas over video calls.
This time, I agonized over and chose designs that could be used as both a planner and a travel journal.
*The stamp with the picture of a suitcase and Hana-chan can be used for both "preparing for a trip" and "tidying up after returning home."
*There are some designs that you can use on a travel day. A rabbit pushing a suitcase and a dog that looks like a tour guide. The airplane designs are irresistible! Hana-chan and Kuma-chan from Around the World are perfect for a train trip! If you draw a little line like a seat belt, you can use it to look like a car trip!
*There are three types of travel destination designs: city, beach resort, and outdoor! Just looking at them will make you want to go somewhere.
*Stripes that can be used like airmail! They're just small decorative stamps, but they're very versatile and will likely become a hidden gem.
*The stamps make me think of bags, cameras, maps, coins, and other items scattered in a disorganized manner, and the feeling of arriving at a travel destination and spreading them out on a table or bed. I can't help but think, "Ah, why do travel patterns appeal to me?", but they are my favorite stamps and I think I'll use them a lot.
I hope that "365: Re-Explore" will become a new companion for your planner or travel journal.
Tomorrow we will be talking about the usual stamp series of 365. Look forward to it!
