Introducing the 365: Omamori & Ema stamps, released in December. This month's theme is Omamori and Ema. It's a little different from the usual 365 stamps, and has a pinpoint feel to it, but it's a very nice stamp with a uniquely Japanese atmosphere.
This is "SAKURA Shrine." Surrounded by cherry blossom trees, the shrine is filled with soft pink hues. Cherry blossom-patterned charms, goshuincho (stamp books), and votive plaques in the shape of cherry blossoms... I imagine a beautiful scene in the early spring when cherry blossom petals are fluttering down.
You can customize the Omamori and Ema stamps by stamping your wishes, or use them as labels or frames. In this image, only the stamps included in the set are used, so the inside of the Ema is blank, but it goes great with the zodiac-themed " 365: Eto " and New Year-themed " 365: Oshogatsu " stamps! You can also enjoy combining them with various other Japanese-themed stamps .
The stamps in the goshuin book can be used to record the goshuin you receive! I started keeping a goshuin book after climbing Mt. Fuji, but I can't remember which shrine I received the few goshuin I got and when. I thought I'd try keeping a goshuin record journal.
I wonder how many years ago it was when I drew a fortune slip last time? I have fond memories of drawing the Daikichi fortune with my family and being happy. "365: Omamori & Ema" is a stamp that is perfect for the coming season and New Year's visit to the shrine. By the way, the New Year's Eve bell stamp is included in " 365: Nippon - Fuyu "!
(Top row, center/right) The rabbit, flowers, and the words "Happy New Year" are from " 365: Eto ." (Bottom row, right) The Daruma doll is from " 365: Nippon 2. " All the others are from "365: Omamori & Ema."
It's cute just to stamp it as it is, but it can be used in various ways depending on your ideas. There's too much to introduce for the December release, so it may take some time until the release... but I'd like to introduce it again on my blog or Instagram .
Tomorrow will be "Surprise, Surprise" too! Look forward to it!
