Golden Week is finally here. With a 10-day consecutive holiday and the turning point of the era from Heisei to Reiwa, this Golden Week is different from usual, and it's making us feel a bit excited. I'm sure there are many people out there who have plans to go home, travel, or go out here and there. So, in this issue of " Create & Inspire ", we'd like to introduce some memory-keeping ideas that will make full use of the guide maps and pamphlets you pick up from your travels!
What you need
● Clear stamps ● Acrylic blocks ● Ink ● Scissors
● Glue
● Paper ● Photographs, pamphlets, guide maps, etc.
Here are my memories of a day spent at an amusement park recorded in my Traveler's Notebook. The size of the amusement park guide map was just right to fit into a regular-sized Traveler's Notebook, so I just pasted it in.
Of course, you can just cut out a part of it and use it, but if it's a stylish guide map like this, you can stick photos on top of it or write in your journal and use it as a cool background.
If you stamp it directly onto the guide map, it will look messy, so stamp it onto a separate piece of white paper and cut it out along the lines.
Here, we used the amusement park-themed stamp set " 365: Amusement Park ," the family-themed stamp set " 365: Family " which was also introduced in " Memory Keeping: 003, " and the stamp set " 365: Feeling Bubble, " which features faces and speech bubbles with various expressions.
All you have to do is stick the cut out stickers on top of the guide map like sticker flakes. You can stick photos on them and write in your journal in the speech bubbles to record the fun days you had.
After you've enjoyed your Golden Week outing, why not take the time to create some pages of memories? Have a great Golden Week!
