Memory Keeping 2019

Sakuralala - Memory - Keeping

This is finally the first page of 2019. I spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day relaxing, so every day was heartwarming, but I didn't go anywhere in particular, and I didn't have any restaurant or other shop cards that I wanted to paste on this page, so it took me a little while to solidify the idea of what kind of page to make. I looked back on the events I wanted to focus on this week and decided to use stamp designs that would express those events.

Thank you 2018 & Hello 2019
A message for the end and beginning of the year. It's hard to see in the photo, but next to it I stamped the random hearts from ( 365: Amy Tangerine - You Are My Sunshine ). I recommend using the lines printed on the notebook to stamp images of a sitting Hana-chan ( 365: Happy Memo ) or animals ( 365: Cafe ) as they're super cute!

`` ʻOhana' '
I often spend Christmas and the New Year with my family, so the stamp "ʻOhana," which means "family" in Hawaiian, was perfect for that. The stamp has a strong presence and really tightens up the page.

" Girls reading picture books "
I was thinking about how I wanted to record the days I spent with my niece, who was staying over, watching her favorite Anpanman and singing Disney songs, when I remembered that I had the perfect stamp. It is a stamp with a picture of someone reading a book, included in ( 365: Family ). I also have fond memories of reading Yoshitake Shinsuke's picture book "Mou Nuge Nai" over and over again, almost to the point of being over! Even though my niece's native language is English, she listened to the story seriously and laughed at the same parts many times, which was a very touching moment. 365: Family

This stamp set of "Girls Reading Picture Books" is actually divided into two pieces. ( 365: Family ) is a stamp set with a "family" theme, as the name suggests, and you can combine dad, mom, boy, and girl.

The "Girl Reading a Picture Book" stamp has a blank space to the left, so you can stamp your favorite child's picture there. Of course, you can use it without stamping anything next to it, and you can also combine it with pictures from other stamp sets. Combining it with a dog ( 365: Friends - Dog ) or a cat ( 365: Friends - Cat ) is also very cute!

365: Family

As shown in the image, you can stamp a boy or a girl next to the "girl reading a picture book." Even if it's the same girl, you can create a different atmosphere just by changing the color of her hair or clothes.

In addition to stamping the picture book on the double-page spread to express the picture book, I think it would be cute to write a note or stamp "Thank You" or "Hello" and attach it to a small gift. I tried my best to draw a page of "Mou Nuge Nai".

Stamp sets that can be enjoyed in many variations depending on your ideas are a great deal, aren't they? ( 365: Family ) is a stamp set that can be enjoyed more than you can imagine with just a little tweaking, so I'd like to write about it again in my blog.

Below are the stamps used on this page.
