Introducing the "Day By Day" monthly stamp, "365: February," released in January.
February is Valentine's Day! We have created stamps full of hearts in the hope that they will convey your feelings to your beloved family, friends, and special someone.
There's a stamp of Hana-chan and Kuma-chan hugging, a stamp that says "Here's your present!", and a rabbit writing a love letter... They're all Valentine's Day-themed, but they're also all cute designs that can be used for birthday celebrations, exchanging letters, and of course for memory keeping and in your diary.
This month's decorative stamps feature hearts in various variations. They are cute just as they are, and cute when used with Hana-chan and friends, making them versatile stamps. One in particular is the stamp with hearts lined up in a row. You can color it or combine it with the small heart and striped heart stamps. If you color it with pastel colors, it will look cute, like Sweethearts, an American Valentine's Day candy. I'm sure you've seen it before! They are small heart-shaped sugar candies printed with messages unique to Valentine's Day. I looked it up on Wikipedia and was surprised to find out that they have been around for over 150 years!
I put the flower stamps with the birth flower of each month. When I research birth flowers, I find that the flowers used vary from region to region, from date to date, and from country to country, so I always find myself stuck on which flower to use. However, it seems that there is no such thing as a "correct birth flower," and I just need to choose the flower that I like best in terms of shape, color, and meaning, so I feel a little relieved. This month's flower is the violet. It seems to be the birth flower for February in the United States. Of the several flower meanings, the violet means "little happiness," and that little flower seems even more lovable .
Tomorrow I'd like to talk about the theme stamps that will be released in January. Look forward to it!
