Let's try using "365: December"! (Part 1)

2022-11 Day By Day クリスマス 365

I decided to try making mini Christmas cards using the November release "365: December". I used to make elaborate cards, but it's been a long time since I last made one. I wonder how many years it's been?! Once I started making them, I had fun, so I challenged myself to see how many cards I could make in 30 minutes. I made four kinds of mini Christmas cards.

Just like the last time I made travel tags , I took a break from a hectic day and stamped. I could have done it at a table, but I worked on my lap with an Anpanman picture book as a support. Maybe it was because I was relaxed, but even with a blank piece of paper in front of me, ideas just came to me: combine this and that, do this, do that...

365 December

First, a card with holly stamped randomly. It's surprisingly difficult to balance randomly, but I changed the direction and stamped to fill in the gaps. It's not a card to actually give to someone, so it's okay if it sticks out from the folded part!

Stamp the holly berries with red ink, paint the leaves with Mildliner's new color, Mild Olive, and voila!

365 December

The second card is a stamp of a bear driving a car with a Christmas tree he bought on top of it.

365 December

I used a "snowflake" stamp for the sky and a decorative stamp for the ground pattern. I could have hand-drawn the lines on the ground, but I used the line (banner string) stamp from 365: Wishing You .

I wanted to stamp a row of houses in the background, so I thought about using the houses from 365: My Town , but I found a more suitable row of houses in 365: Fuyu ! This stamp is of a row of houses with snow piled up on the roofs. This stamp is from shortly after the 365 series ( Season 1 ) began, so it's a stamp I have a lot of attachment to. It gives off a winter town vibe! So cute.

Tomorrow is the second part! I hope you'll come back and take a look when you have time .
