There were a lot of deadlines this week, and I was so busy checking off my TO DO list. I didn't have any restaurant or shop cards to cut out and paste.
In those cases, I randomly stamp the same thing and fill in the blanks with cool designs, like "YAY" on this week's page, "WORK", "Shadow Under the Ink", "Twinkle Twinkle Star", and "La La La♪".
To make the design look cool, instead of re-applying ink every time you stamp, apply ink once and then stamp two or three times. The ink color gets lighter and lighter on the second and third impressions, so it gives the impression of depth and the overlapping and rubbing creates a nice atmosphere.
I found a previous page where you can clearly see the shading from stamping two or three times , so for reference... I stamped the word "ALOHA" randomly in the shape of Oahu, Hawaii. The alphabet I used is " 365: Hikari ." I was busy with work during the week, so I didn't have anything to write, and on the weekends I spent the week having a great time at Disney's Aulani Hotel with a friend's family who was visiting Hawaii. It may seem bold to stamp the shape of the island, but I can still vividly remember the fun times I had with my friends, so it all turned out well.
I also used the curry stamp on the previous week's page [ Memory Keeping: 007 ], but this is from " 365: Nippon2 ". It's the second week in a row that I've used it, but if you change the color of the ink used for the [curry roux] part, it can look more like stew, or it can even look like green curry.
The jogging girl is from " 365: Activity ." The stamp is divided into [Girl (Outline)], [Hat], and [Hair and Pants Pattern]. You can stamp only the [Girl (Outline)] and color it with a colored pen as on this page, but the dots of the [Pants Pattern] are subtle and cute, so I recommend coloring it with the stamp.
By the way,,,
People who see this page always ask me, "Why Kenichi Mikawa?", but I happened to be at a nearby shopping mall and there was a mini show for a new song. I wrote about it because I thought it was a rare occurrence, but it ended up conspicuous more than I expected. But the conversation with the fans was interesting, and of course I got to hear "Scorpio Woman" live, so it was the highlight of my week.
