The "Day By Day" series of monthly stamps is finally complete! Today I would like to talk about these 12 stamps.
First of all, this!!! I almost want to add a sound effect like "Ta-da!!!"
When I think about the journey from planning to strategy meetings for ideas, design, and commercialization, I am overwhelmed with emotion as I have been working on the "Day By Day" series for over a year now. I find myself lost in thought, "There were months like this," "There was something like that at that time."
I've lined up the name of the month and the number that represents which month it is on the stamp for each month. The name of the month on the far left (the ones in English like January, February, etc.) has a different font for each month, which is fun and cute!
Since people have different preferences for fonts when it comes to alphabet stamps, it's difficult to take action even if I want to make some, but I would like to hear your opinions on which fonts are your favorites for future reference.
Here we have just numbers lined up. Since they go from 0 to 9, they can also be used as number stamps. To stamp 0, just apply ink to the 0 part of the "10" stamp.
The numbers I want to focus on here are the numbers 6 and 9. At first glance, they look like they have the same design, just turned upside down, but in fact they are different.
Look at the numbers "9" and "19".
Have you noticed something a little different? The "9" in "19" is the "6" turned upside down.
This means that you can enjoy two different patterns for both "6" and "9". It's a subtle difference, but it's nice to have options.
Here are the flowers for each month. Hana-chan is from " 365: Wishing You ." It's so lovely...
Did you notice that there is a slight shadow on one of the flowers? I accidentally sneezed when I was stamping and failed. I could have just tried again, but each flower stamp is included in a different monthly stamp collection, so I had a last resort!
I wrote about my failures in the previous Memory Keeping with "Day By Day" #004 and #005 , but this time I stamped flowers on a different piece of paper, cut it out, and pasted it on top nicely. When I took the photo, a shadow was cast on it, but you probably wouldn't notice it at first glance! I was lucky!
Well, tomorrow, July 14th (from 10am) is the July release!
There is also a monthly set with a bonus! When I saw the stickers in the "365: Pretty Patterns" section, I once again thought it would be nice to have pattern paper like this. I wonder if there are people who would like to use paper products in the 365 series!?
and,,,
This month's release marks the completion of the "Day By Day" series, and we've received many questions asking, "What will happen from next month?" However, stamp releases will be on a hiatus for a while.
I've been able to talk to you all monthly through my blog and Instagram, so although I'm happy to have completed one full circle, I'm feeling a bit lonely right now. It was fun to introduce the stamps I had been working on from the 7th of each month, and I was happy to finally be able to deliver these cute stamps to you all.
The 365 series, which started in 2017, actually has 85 varieties! I'm just happy that the world of 365 has expanded so much. Thank you again. I'll keep trying my best to reach 100 varieties.
We are also steadily working on new projects, so please look forward to them. When we are ready to unveil them, we will report the updates via the Sakurala newsletter and Instagram , so we would appreciate it if you would subscribe to them.
Nice to meet you.
...It's getting long, but one last thing. I've been introducing new stamps released in July this week, but I haven't finished introducing the "365: Pretty Patterns" series yet. (There are at least seven more patterns I want to show you!)
So, I will continue to update my blog from tomorrow onwards!!
I hope you'll check out my blog again tomorrow. I hope you'll also enjoy the stamps released in July.
