The possibilities are endless depending on your ideas! That's the perfect phrase for "365: Pretty Patterns." The third in the series "Let's play with 365: Pretty Patterns!" is a pattern that uses the stamps from this bookshelf.
This time it's more of a scene than a pattern, but I layered bookcase stamps to create a stylish library or bookstore feel.
It looks like there are so many small stamps to use, it might seem like it would be tedious or difficult to create this scene, but once you stamp the bookshelf, it feels like the blank space is filled in all at once.
The first thing I did was pull out some stamps that matched this image.
- A child reading a book
- Book
- Furniture such as desks, chairs, shelves etc.
This time I decided to use the stamps `` 365: Friends - Dog '', ` `365: Friends - Cat '', ` `365: Craft Shop '', ` `365: Atelier '', and ` `365: Boutique ''.
If you prepare stamps in advance, you can save time by searching for stamps you want to use and wondering, "Where was that stamp?" In my case, if I have too many stamps, pens, masking tape, etc., I feel overwhelmed and can't enjoy my stamping time. Because of this, I've started to prepare only the things I need.
For example, if you only have 30 minutes to stamp, think about how much you can accomplish in that 30 minutes, what you will need for that task, and prepare only those things.
---This may sound a bit serious, but the truth is that I do this during the little bit of free time I have after my children go to sleep, and I'm always nervous about when they'll wake up, so I try to use my 30 minutes efficiently by being able to get ready quickly and put it away quickly so that I can enjoy a short but meaningful stamping time.
(Maybe because I used to have so many things around me, I would want to use this and that, and it would all get a bit hectic. Looking back, maybe that's why I wasn't getting much done... The pages I put so much effort into creating are cute, but I don't think they're suited to my current lifestyle...)
Even so, it was so cute to see everyone reading in their own way. I found myself thinking how I'd like to read a book leisurely in the same space.
The furniture, such as desks, chairs, and shelves, are also really cute! I especially recommend this shelf from 365: Craft Shop , because you can put small items on it!
There will be more tomorrow! Let's play with "365: Pretty Patterns"! Stay tuned for the fourth installment of the series !!!
