The possibilities are endless depending on your ideas! That's the perfect phrase for "365: Pretty Patterns." The fourth in the series "Let's play with 365: Pretty Patterns!" is a pattern that uses shape stamps, which were also introduced in #001 and #002 .
Although it's out of season this time, I wanted to try making a pattern with Christmas motifs, including Santa, in the round window, so I gave it a try.
All of the Christmas designs are stamps from " 365: Ho Ho Ho ." These stamps were released when the 365 stamps were just launched, but they are still popular for use in planners and Christmas cards during the Christmas season.
For this pattern, I used two colors of ink, "Akaneiro" and "Tokusaiiro". Maybe it's because I'm getting used to this pattern stamp, but I was able to print without any gaps, like #001 and #002 . Where "Akaneiro" and "Tokusaiiro" overlap there is a dark line, but I think it works better if you print them so that they overlap a little like this.
I actually wanted to use more red and green ink, which are the Christmas colors, but I decided to be a little adventurous. I tried a one-color version and a two-color version to make samples using this shape stamp, but I'm sure it would be more pop and cute if I used more colorful colors. I'd like to try it.
These pattern stamps allow you to enjoy combining different ink colors, so please give them a try! I look forward to seeing them on Instagram!
There will be more tomorrow! Let's play with "365: Pretty Patterns"! Stay tuned for the fifth installment of the series !!!
